Bebusta ("Bebusta", "we", "us", "our") operates bebusta.com (the "Site") from the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Where we are right now: Bebusta is currently in a demand-testing stage. The Site does not process online payments or run a live checkout today — every purchase enquiry is handled directly over WhatsApp. We're telling you this upfront because it affects what information we actually collect (see below).

Information We Collect

  • Contact details you give us — such as your name, phone/WhatsApp number, and email address, when you message us about a product, sign up to be notified, or otherwise get in touch.
  • The content of your enquiry — for example, which product you're asking about and any details you share with us over WhatsApp or email.
  • Browsing and device information — such as pages viewed, general location (city/country level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site (e.g. from Instagram or a search engine). This is collected automatically through standard website analytics and cookies, the same way most websites work.

Information We Do Not Currently Collect

Because the Site has no live checkout yet, we do not collect or store any payment card details, bank information, or billing addresses through the Site itself. If and when Bebusta introduces online payments, this policy will be updated first, and that section will say so clearly.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your product enquiries and questions over WhatsApp or email.
  • To understand which products people are interested in, so we can decide what to stock and how to improve the Site — this is genuinely why the Site exists in its current form.
  • To occasionally follow up about your enquiry or let you know about product availability, if you've asked us to.
  • To keep the Site secure and working properly.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

  • WhatsApp / Meta — when you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled through WhatsApp's own platform, which has its own privacy policy.
  • Shopify — the Site is built and hosted on Shopify, which processes some technical and usage data on our behalf to keep the Site running (see Shopify's own Consumer Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy/app-users).
  • Service providers — if we use tools like website analytics or advertising platforms (e.g. Meta/Instagram ads), those providers may process limited technical data (such as device or usage information) under their own privacy terms.
  • We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand how visitors use the Site (e.g. which pages and products get the most interest). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention & Security

We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as it's useful for the purpose you gave it to us — generally, until your enquiry is resolved or you ask us to delete it, whichever is later. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — just message us on WhatsApp or email using the details below. As a UAE-based business, we aim to handle these requests consistently with the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Children

The Site is intended for use by parents, guardians, and other adults shopping for children's products — it is not intended to be used directly by children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the business grows — for example, once online payments are introduced. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
